PEPSI PAVILION was an artist-designed and programmed Pavilion created by E.A.T. for Expo ‘70 in Osaka Japan.  The basic concept and design was developed by the four core artists: Robert Breer, Frosty Myers, Robert Whitman and David Tudor.  They were joined by artists Gordon Mumma, Lowell Cross, Fujiko Nakaya, Tony Martin, Ardison Phillips, Pauline Oliveros, architect John Pierce and many American and Japanese engineers and consultants.

Tudor worked closely with Gordon Mumma and Fred Waldhuer in developing a unique 37 channel sound system with both automated and performer-controlled sound modification and distribution.

Tudor and Lowell Cross also worked on sound activated laser deflection system installed in the Clam room of the Pavilion.
