VIRTUAL FOCUS - was initially a music commission for a Merce Cunningham dance “Polarity”, and was later made into an performance/installation work commissioned by UK collectors Adam Barker-Mill and Carolyn Barker-Mill.  The table-top work uses guitar effects pedals, radar and sonar units which respond to collaborator Jackie Monnier’s suspended “volatils”, a signal switching matrix, stereo and quad sound panning devices and other associated components.
